Ricardo Azziz Distinguished Researcher Award
The Ricardo Azziz Distinguished Researcher Award was created through an endowment for the purpose of providing an award to recognize distinguished leadership in the field of androgen excess and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) research. The award supports the vision of the Society as an international leader in fostering the highest quality research in the field of androgen excess and PCOS research. Awardees are selected by an impartial committee. Typically only one award is provided yearly.
Ricardo Azziz is a reproductive endocrinologist and internationally recognized researchers who founded the AEPCOS society.
Ray Rogers

Professor Ray Rodgers is a graduate of the University of Melbourne (1984) and undertook a post-doctoral fellowships at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas (1984-1986), and at Prince Henry’s Institute for Medical Research (1987-1989). He has been a QEII fellow, a BBSRC fellow and a NHMRC fellow (1993-2016). He was recently the Interim Director of the Robinson Research Institute (2021-2023) and is Convenor or Reproductive Health Australia (2021 to present). He conducts largely basic research into reproductive biology, focusing on the mammalian ovary and its endocrine functions. His team have been researching the aetiology of polycystic ovary syndrome since 2007.

Walter Futterweit Clinical Research Excellence Award
The Walter Futterweit Clinical Research Excellence Award recognizes individuals or organizations who have made significant contributions to education, research and/or practice in androgen excess disorders, including PCOS, over a sustained period of time, through scholarly endeavors, teaching excellence, educational innovation, passionate advocacy, and/or dedicated service. Typically, one award is provided annually.

The Azziz-Baumgartner Family Early Career Investigator Awards were created through an endowment for the purpose of providing awards for young investigators presenting original work at the AE-PCOS Society's Annual Meetings. The award supports the vision of the Society to foster and support the development of young investigators in the field androgen excess and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) research. Awardees are selected by an impartial committee from all abstracts submitted for consideration to the Annual Meetings. You must be a member of the AE-PCOS Society to be eligible for the awards. Typically two awards are provided yearly.
